The YMCA has been an important part of family life in Monroe County for more than 30 years. As our community has grown, so have we - adding programs, services and facilities. We serve more than 11,000 members and nearly 8,000 additional program participants.
But today we have more demand for services than we can meet within our current facility structure and we have become much less accessible to many of these outlying, growing areas of our community. Through the expansion and renovation of our southeast side facility and the addition of a new YMCA branch on the northwest side, we will be able to meet that need.
Our capital campaign projects:
- Larger multifunctional warm water pool and hot tub at the southeast facility
- New YMCA branch on the northwest side of Bloomington
Our expanded YMCA will be a place where children can grow,
adults can make new friends and families can draw closer.
