YOUNG MINDS CREATE ART In this YMCA art appreciation class, your child will be introduced to the wonderful aspects of the arts. Their young minds will explore drama, music, art, movement and foreign language. The children’s minds and bodies will be active both creatively and physically! KINDERGARTEN CLASS This Healthy Start half day kindergarten program will prepare children for first grade using a teacher made curriculum based on the Indiana State Standards. Daily activities include morning meeting, activities integrating academics into movement games, learning centers (Math, Science, Social Studies and English Language Arts) and teacher read aloud time. In addition, music, art, PE and Drama specials will be offered once a week. No swimming. M - F | 9:00am - noon | ages 5-6 | $195/$255 month |
| The preschool classes and the kindergarten program for the 2013/2014 school year will begin on September 3, 2013 and run through May 16, 2014. REGISTRATION A $35 non-refundable registration fee is required to hold a place for your child. The fee for each additional class is $20. This fee guarantees your child a place in the program and covers the cost of supplies for the school year. Registration for the 2013/2014 school year will begin on March 18 for YMCA members and will open to everyone on March 25. Monthly rates reflect all aspects of the curriculum including gym, swimming (where applicable) and school materials. Parents are requested to provide a snack for the children. Preschool fees are paid one month in advance, due on the 1st of the month. For the 2013/2014 school year, the first month’s tuition is due August 1. There is a $10 late fee applied after the 20th of the month.  |
