Gymnastics and Dance
The spacious YMCA Gymnastics Center, which opened in 2012 to much excitement, is open to aspiring gymnasts, cheerleaders, and dancers of all levels and ages. Our Progressive Program is designed to build confidence through fundamentals first and building to our advanced placement classes. Gymnastics and dance programming is designed to introduce basic and intermediate levels to students interested in these areas. We do also offer Dance and Gymnastics classes designed for middle school and high school athletes who want to focus on specific skill development based on their high school sports. There is something for everyone at the YMCA Gymnastics Center!
Running & Triathlon Training
The Monroe County YMCA is committed to helping you reach your goals. With running groups, group endurance programs and 5K Fridays, we're here to help you, whether you're just getting started or a veteran runner.
Here at the Y, we know that a child who learns how to swim builds confidence with every stroke. YMCA swim lesson participants learn proper technique and safety skills, but they also develop the foundation that will enable them to enjoy aquatic activities throughout their lives.
At the Y, learning friendship skills is just as important as practicing basketball drills. Our experienced coaches and instructors know how to keep your kid safe and healthy while having a blast learning a new sport, honing their talent, or releasing their energy with friends!
