Southeast Y Aquatic Center Refurbishment Announcement
We are excited to begin our Aquatic Center Refurbishment at our Southeast Y starting Sunday, February 26. This project will entail the application of a state-of-the-art pool deck surface throughout the entire aquatic center, a paint refresh of internal walls, and the installation of sound-dampening panels.
Both our Main Pool and Hot Tub and Multipurpose Pool and Hot Tub at our Southeast Y will be closed for approximately three weeks. This timeline is due to the compromised state of our current pool decks which require substantial pre-work before the new deck surface can be applied.
To help minimize disruption to our members during this facility improvement project, we have the following in place:
- Expanded pool hours at our Northwest Y pool:
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00 am – 8:30 pm
- Friday: 6:00 am-7:30 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am-5:30 pm
- Sunday: 12:00-5:30 pm
- Reciprocity at our neighboring Ys (Brown County YMCA, Owen County YMCA, and Morgan County YMCA
- Program participants (Group Exercise, Tiger Sharks, Swim Lessons) will be contacted directly with additional information
