Building Better Balance
This is community-based program that addresses the multiple dimensions that contribute to balance and mobility issues. It is designed to empower people who are prone to falling and/or have a lack of confidence in moving and functioning in many different environments.
Anyone who wants to increase their confidence in mobility by practicing functional exercises that counteract movement challenges would benefit from this program. Those who suffer from Parkinson's Disease, Diabetes, stroke & heart-related diseases, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, MS, and/or cancer will benefit from Building Better Balance.
- Increased flexibility and strength
- Exercising in a safe, progressive environment
- Practicing exercises to help improve strength, confidence, and better movement
- Providing functional assessments to optimize daily physical function and delay the progression of chronic and acute illnesses & disease
Our Spring/Summer session will run from Tuesday, May 12 to Thursday, July 17.
