A community-based program that addresses the multiple dimensions that contribute to a balance and mobility issue. It is designed to empower people who have issues of falling and/or developing a lack of confidence to move and function in many different environments.
- Increased flexibility and strength
- Exercises done in a safe, progressive environment
- Practice exercises to help improve strength, confidence, and better movement
- Provide functional assessment to optimize physical daily function and delay progression of chronic and acute illnesses and disease.
Who will benefit from this class?
Anyone who wants to increase their confidence in mobility by practicing functional exercises that counteract movement challenges. Those who suffer from Parkinson's Disease, diabetes, stroke and heart diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis, MS, and/or cancer will experience the benefits of Building Better Balance.
