Adult Health Programs are offered with an overall goal of creating a nurturing setting in order to help improve physical activity, wellness, and promote lifelong health. Our goals for you include: keeping illness to a minimum, reduce and/or eliminate cardiovascular disease risk factors, all while improving quality of life.
This individualized instructional program is designed to enhance your overall health and well-being. Individuals with medically based specific needs and/or concerns are encouraged to use this highly specialized training program where the instructor is a Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist.
Y-Fitness for Life
Y-Fitness for Life is an exercise program tailored to your health and personal fitness needs. This program is open to anyone who feels they will benefit from exercise, enjoys exercising in a group setting, and is open to making lifestyle changes.
Building Better Balance
A community based program that addresses the multiple dimensions that contribute to a balance and mobility issue. It is designed to empower people who have issues of falling and/or developing a lack of confidence to move and function in many different environments.
Designed for those who have had coronary artery bypass, heart attack, PTCA, or are at risk for heart disease. The Cardiac Rehab and Health Maintenance program can help you gradually and safely regain or build your level of fitness.
The W.I.S.E. program is an exercise program designed specifically for individuals who are either currently undergoing treatment for a cancer related illness or those who have completed their therapy. This program is open to all cancer patients/ survivors, regardless of cancer type, stage, current treatment status, or time since diagnosis and treatment.
Moving for a Healthier You: Weight Loss Through the YMCA
Are you looking to jumpstart your weight loss journey, but not sure how? We can help! When you join this program, you’ll enjoy seeing real results with workouts tailored to your ability, weekly weigh-ins, and follow-ups from Lifestyle Coaches. In this 7-week program, our goal is to help you decrease your overall body fat mass in a group-based, encouraging environment. Program is exercise and movement focused, with added nutrition and education along the way.
