Celebrating 45 Years in Monroe County
The Monroe County YMCA is celebrating its forty-fifth anniversary this year! Our Southeast Y pool first opened in 1980, starting our journey of forty-five years of service in the Bloomington community. Though our fortieth anniversary plans were upended in 2020, we are excited to sprinkle in some fun during our forty-fifth year to make up for lost time.
Our Southeast Y is getting a retro makeover with '80s-inspired colors, and we’re rolling out fun challenges to thank our members for being a part of the Y family. Join us for contests, giveaways, and more to celebrate our forty-fifth birthday!
SUMMER CHALLENGE
We challenge our members to check in 45 times! Keep track of your check-ins on your own or in our app. If you check in 45 times from June 1 through July 31, you become one of our CHECK-IN CHAMPIONS! Please report your check-ins to our Welcome Center staff, where they will assist you in:
- Claiming your mini prize
- Entering into our summer raffle
- Adding your name to our CHECK-IN CHAMPION display
Raffle winners will be randomly chosen at the end of the challenge. Receive a bonus raffle entry when you join the challenge in the Reclique Core app!
