Summer Camp Financial Assistance

The first price listed is the discounted rate for Monroe County YMCA members. The second price listed is the standard rate for non-members.

To take advantage of the Y member-exclusive prices, you can join the Y online or visit us in person at either of our Southeast or Northwest Y branches.

Early Bird Rates for Day Camp and Sports Camps will be offered through the end of the day on March 31. Starting April 1, camp rates for Day Camps and Sports Camps will increase.

Yes! Pathfinders at our Northwest Y will swim once a week on Wednesdays. Full-Day Sports Campers will swim every day, while Half-Day Sports Campers will not be swimming. All other camps will swim every day. To see if your Half-Day Camper will swim, please view our swim times schedule:

Summer Camp Swim Times

PLEASE SEND WITH CAMPER (please label everything):

• Backpack
• Healthy, filling lunch that does not require refrigeration or microwaving
• A healthy snack or two
• Reusable water bottle
• Swimsuit and towel, other swim accessories if needed
• Sunscreen and bug spray (preferably spray bottles)
• Weather-appropriate play clothes that can get dirty
• Close-toed shoes with socks

DO NOT SEND WITH CAMPER:

• Electronics (including cell phones)
• Toys or personal belongings
• Pokémon cards
• Valuables
• Sandals/Flip-flops

If bad weather occurs during camp, camp will be moved indoors inside the Y facility. See our Camp Catalog or Parent Guide for rainy-day drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Please come to the Front Desk in our lobbies. Our Welcome Center staff will contact Camp Leadership to escort your camper to and from Summer Camp. This includes Day, Specialty, and Sports Camps.

All medication must be turned in to Camp Leadership Staff in the original container with the label. Emergency medications, such as an EpiPen or inhaler, will be kept with your camper or their assigned counselor.

Parents will be asked to list anyone eligible to pick up their child when they register for camp. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep our YMCA Camp Leadership informed and up-to-date with the appropriate information, such as who can pick up the child and emergency contact information. Photo identification will be required upon pick-up for the safety of all children and families.

Meet Your Counselor Night is Wednesday, May 15 from 6:00-7:00 pm at our Southeast Y and Thursday, May 16 from 6:00-7:00 pm at our Northwest Ys. This is a chance for parents and campers to ask questions prior to camp, become familiar with our campgrounds and Y facilities, and of course, meet our Day & Specialty Camp counselors and Camp Leadership staff. Sports Camp Counselors will not be available at either branch for Meet Your Counselor Night. We hope you will join us!

If cancellation occurs prior to May 1, you will receive a full refund, not including the weekly deposit of $35. Any cancellation that takes place after April 30 will result in no refund.

If after April 30, you may transfer your child to another week of camp if space is available for a $15 fee.

We offer three different types of camps per week: Day Camp, Specialty Camp, and Sports Camp. If one camp is full during that week, we hope that our other options can interest you and your family!
