The foundation of our yoga program lies in Hatha Yoga, a mind/body practice which is an invigorating, non-competitive form of exercise for men and women of all ages. Every class works on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and concentration and emphasizes body alignment, spinal extension, muscular balance, and the subtleties of the breath. The gentle and versatile nature of yoga promotes physical and mental relaxation, increased energy, and enhancement of one’s overall health.
Benefits of Yoga
Yoga addresses many needs for your body and mind. Stretching muscles can improve and ease movement, decreasing feelings of stiffness or fatigue. Many types of yoga are quite physical, improving your muscle tone and strength. Yoga poses strengthen the core, leading to stronger abdominal muscles and a healthier back. A strengthened core and increased flexibility lead to better posture. Paying attention to your breath can help you relax, release stress, and stay calm. Furthermore, yoga has been found to lower blood pressure and slow the heart rate, and has been linked to lowered cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and better immune system function. Source: WebMD

Core Flow Yoga
Core Flow is an energizing vinyasa-style class that builds strength while tapping into the rhythm of the breath. This yoga class focuses on core strength, balance, and movement. Enjoy the physical challenge while receiving all the calming benefits of yoga.
This class focuses on meditative movement and stretching as well as traditional yoga postures and vinyasas (flows). The class will also incorporate pranayama (breath work) and mindful relaxation. Prepare to be soothed and centered!
Power Flow Yoga
An athletic style class with an approach that is both physically and mentally challenging. Participants flow through a series of rigorous standing, seated, and reclining postures transitioning from one to the other to build strength, flexibility, balance and stamina.
This class is specifically designed for the pregnant mother and is an opportunity to practice yoga safely along with other mothers. Prenatal yoga can help relieve some of the discomforts of pregnancy and allows an opportunity to practice breathing and relaxation techniques that can be helpful during labor and throughout motherhood.
Registration is on a month-by-month basis and does not run on session dates.

Yoga Fusion is a multi-level yoga class which combines Hatha Yoga and Pilates with the use of props, BOSU, and yoga balls. Yoga props offer support and stability in the poses to improve alignment and comfort. The BOSU and yoga balls will challenge balance and strength as we learn to explore the poses in new ways. The class will include meditative movement, foundational yoga poses, breath work, and relaxation.
Meet us in the yoga laboratory! This workshop style class will explore back bends, forward bends, twists, splits, and inversions. The instructor will teach students to explore poses that “meet you where you are.” Balancing strength and flexibility, utilizing spiraling energy lines within the body, and building deeper yoga poses from the ground up with step by step instruction. Instruction is based on foundational Iyengar principles, so the class will include the use of props. The small class size lends itself to personal attention and individualized instruction. Previous intermediate yoga experience required (Yoga 2 or equivalent).
Yoga Level I
A basic instructional class that introduces the foundational postures and fundamental structure of a yoga practice.
Yoga Level II
An intermediate, longer practice incorporating more challenging postures and deeper body awareness. Previous yoga experience required.
Yoga for Strength
Add the perfect balance of classic yoga poses and strength and flexibility training to your morning routine with this energizing yoga practice.
Combining the disciplines of both yoga and Pilates together in a playful approach that addresses the whole body.
