Southeast YMCA Locker Room Refresh

We are excited to fully reopen our Southeast Y Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms starting Saturday, November 22! Please bear with us, as we begin our next phase of improvements to our Southeast Y Locker Rooms. During this transition time, our Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms will have a temporary layout with temporary changing stalls, and folding chairs will remain available for use.

We sincerely hope your YMCA experience is enhanced by our newly installed state-of-the-art, non-slip flooring and fresh repainted walls. Thank you for your patience, and please stay tuned for more details about our exciting plans to continue to improve our Y.

We are excited to announce upcoming improvements to our Southeast Y! In November 2025, we will refresh our facility with state-of-the-art flooring in our Locker Rooms. The new non-slip flooring will replace the carpet on the first floor of our Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms. Installation will begin on Sunday, November 9, and will require partial area closures until reopening on Monday, November 24.

Select area closures from November 9-23 include:
• Front entrance to the Men’s and Women’s Locker Room across from the lobby
• Carpeted first-floor area in Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms

To minimize disruptions to our members during this facility improvement project, we will have the following in place:
• Pools and Locker Rooms will be accessible by a temporary entrance at the track-side door near the basketball courts.
• Showers, restrooms, and the second floor of the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms will remain open.
• Temporary lockers will be placed near the Common Room, Wellness Center, and tiled area of the Locker Rooms.
• The Family/Accessible Locker Room will remain open.
• The Northwest Y will continue to offer regular hours and operations.
