Northwest YMCA
The Northwest YMCA opened in 2013 in an effort to expand the Y's reach in the community. The Monroe County Y made a commitment to create a better community that will nurture the potential of youth, improve health and well-being, and support our neighbors. The Y is the nation's leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The Northwest Y is located near West Vernal Pike, serving Ellettsville and the north side of Bloomington. It is set on a beautiful wooded site that includes trails that connect to Karst Farm Greenway Trail. The state-of-the-art facility includes an indoor heated multi-functional pool, wellness center, child watch, gymnasium, and an on-site IU Health Foot and Ankle office.
