Planned Fall Pool Closures
As part of our commitment to providing a healthy environment, our Monroe County YMCA branches will experience select pool closures for deep cleaning and annual maintenance.
Please be aware of the following closure dates:
NORTHWEST Y
• Pool will be CLOSED from Tuesday, August 11-Thursday, August 20.
• Pool will reopen on Friday, August 21 with regularly scheduled hours.
SOUTHEAST Y
• Multipurpose Pool will be CLOSED from Tuesday, August 18-Thursday, August 27.
• Multipurpose Pool will reopen on Friday, August 28 with regularly scheduled hours.
• Main Pool, Hot Tub, and Cold Plunge will be open as regularly scheduled.
PROGRAM UPDATES:
NORTHWEST Y
• Swim Lessons are unavailable in August and will resume in September.
• Tigersharks Development Team and Masters Swim Club are canceled from August 11-20.
• Deep Water and Shallow Water Group Ex classes are canceled from August 11-20.
SOUTHEAST Y
• Swim Lessons are unavailable in August and will resume in September. Tiger Sharks Competition
Team is unaffected.
• Shallow Water Group Ex classes are canceled August 18-27. Deep Water classes are unaffected.
• Homeschool Gym & Swim will focus on land-based physical education and activities from
August 18-27.
