Youth Strength Training (YST)
Are you a youth between the ages of 12-14 who wants to begin an exercise program and learn healthy lifelong habits, or enhance your current program? Are you the parent of a youth, interested in introducing them to a healthy, active lifestyle? Our YST program is for you!
This one-hour class will include:
- Instruction on proper usage of an introductory strength training circuit and cardio equipment
- Information on establishing healthy lifestyle habits
- Follow-up meeting with a Wellness Supervisor within two weeks of class
- Ongoing support from a Wellness Supervisor for the length of your membership

The SportWall makes training more fun while delivering a whole new level of skill and conditioning. Using computer game technology, the wall stimulates play with targets and scoring to improve concentration, placement, speed, and agility. Programs are available for all ages and levels! An equipment bag can be checked out at the Welcome Center by members ages 12+. The SportWall is located in Cardinal Court at our Southeast Y.
