Northwest YMCA

The Northwest YMCA Branch opened in 2013 to expand its reach in the community. The Y made a commitment to create a better community that will nurture youth potential, improve health and well-being, and support our neighbors. The Y is the nation's leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Northwest YMCA Branch is located near West Vernal Pike, serving Ellettsville and the north side of Bloomington. It is set on a beautiful wooded site that includes trails connecting to the Karst Park trail. The state-of-the-art facility includes an indoor heated multi-functional pool, wellness center, child watch, gymnasium, and an on-site IU Health Foot and Ankle office.
