Sometimes one-on-one attention and training is exactly what you need to reach your goals and exceed your expectations. The Y offers a variety of personal fitness approaches to suit your interests, schedule, and budget.
Individualized Options
Personal Training
During your consultation, you and a personal trainer will discuss your health/wellness goals and answer any questions you may have. The trainer will also give you recommendations to help you on your health/wellness journey. Please visit the Welcome Center today to make your appointment. Having a personal trainer means connecting with a professional who is committed, educated and caring. Your trainer will use a variety of methods to create a program that focuses on meeting your individual lifestyle goals.

*Can be paid over the course of three months. If you train once per week, the package will last for a full three months. If you train more than once per week, the package may not last the full three months. Payments can be adjusted to weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly withdrawals at the Welcome Center.
Body Composition Evaluation
Southeast Only
Our Tanita Scale can provide data/measurements/metrics. Complete body composition evaluation includes:
• Body fat percentage
• BMI (Body Mass Index)
• BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
• Total body water in pounds
• Height and weight
• Tracking of progress
• Printed copy of results

Fitness Testing
Southeast & Northwest
Separate testing protocol for ages 15-60 and 60+.
Each protocol consists of:
• Cardiovascular
• Muscular strength and endurance
• Flexibility
• Body Fat, BMI, & circumferences
• Height and weight
Partial fitness testing available.

Wellness Center Supervisor Introduction
Through one-on-one appointments a wellness center supervisor will:
- Help guide you with your health and wellness journey at the YMCA
- Answer questions you may have about equipment and machine usage
- Provide information about programming at the YMCA
- Discuss coaching packet of basic wellness tips and exercise guidelines
- Follow up for accountability
