Mako Swim Team
The Mako swim team focuses on competitive stroke techniques, pool racing skills, and race strategy. Mako swimmers learn the fundamentals necessary to join a competition swim team or swim club. Practices focus on swimming drills, stretching, and knowledge of the water with a positive and encouraging coaching staff. As Mako swimmers demonstrate good fundamental skills, their practice yardage and conditioning will gradually increase to further prepare them for a competitive team or club. When the swimmer feels ready, the Mako coaching staff can arrange tryouts for the swim clubs in the area. Start your child’s swimming career out right and give them the best chance to succeed in the water!
