Tiger Shark swimmers have opportunities to develop not only swimming skills, but life skills as well through a program that cultivates team spirit and engagement. Activities are well-rounded with both in-water and dry land practices a part of all swim groups.
Our coaching staff is passionate about youth development, and has helped swimmers accomplish their goals should they be as simple as swimming in their first swim meet or achieving a Junior National time cut.
Coaches use the latest stroke and drill techniques to build a solid foundation, promote correct form, and build good habits in all four strokes while incorporating fun into every practice including relay races and mini competitions. Instruction is personalized to each swimmer, and various challenges are used to establish and promote a solid foundation in both stroke technique and racing strategy. Coaches also provide continuous stroke, turn and start evaluation and adjustment to prepare swimmers for competition.
Tiger Sharks have four practices per week and one opportunity to compete in a swim meet each month. Team members pay a monthly draft of $80. Charges are billed on the first of each month.
