Here at the Y, we know that a child who learns how to swim builds confidence with every stroke. YMCA swim lesson participants learn proper technique and safety skills, but they also develop the foundation that will enable them to enjoy aquatic activities throughout their lives. This is a progressive program that gives each participant a solid foundation to build a lifelong love of aquatic wellness activities.
Tiger Sharks Swim Team
The Tiger Sharks swim team provides a safe, fun, and positive atmosphere for youth ages 6-14 to learn and perfect competitive swimming skills. Tiger Shark swimmers have opportunities to develop not only swimming skills, but life skills as well through a program that cultivates team spirit and engagement.
In Adult Aquatics Classes ("Water Group Exercise"), you'll follow a trained instructor doing exercises alongside other participants in the pool. These classes are open to participants ages 12 and older.
