Group Ex Classes

Whether you're just beginning your fitness journey or looking to take your workouts to the next level, YMCA Group Ex Classes provide the motivation, accountability, and expert instruction to help you succeed. With a variety of classes designed for all fitness levels, you'll find an encouraging environment where you can move, grow, and achieve your wellness goals. We offer a variety of free and paid classes at our Southeast and Northwest branches to meet your needs.

Current Class Schedule
Free Exercise Classes
For free classes, registration is not required, but you must arrive 15 minutes before class to reserve your spot. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some have maximum capacities due to space, available equipment, and safety needs.

Paid Exercise Classes
Registration for paid Group Ex classes is required, so please register early to secure your spot. Classes last for four weeks and begin at the start of each month.

Classes for Every Interest and Fitness Level
From strength training and cycling to yoga, water fitness, active older adult programs, and high-energy cardio workouts, YMCA Group Exercise Classes offer something for everyone. These classes are open to participants ages 12 and older.* Classes typically last 30 to 60 minutes and range from high-energy cardio and strength training to calming yoga, offering a structured, motivating environment for all fitness levels.

*To ensure the safety of our members, youth ages 11 and under are NOT allowed in adult group exercise classes. This includes sitting in the back of the room and babies in any kind of carrier. Youth ages 12+ can participate in adult classes as long as they can perform exercises as instructed.
